She is survived by: her siblings, Amador Valdez and Gabrielita Gonzales Valdez; her daughters, Wanda Gates-Ortiz of Raton and Carol Zamora of Albuquerque; her granddaughters, Marlo Melton (Ron) of Albuquerque, Karla Urban (Ken) of Albuquerque and Ginger Marie Gates of Albuquerque; her great grandchildren, Tyler Filip of Angelo Joseph, Gabrielle Melton, Benjamin Urban and Charlie Urban; her sisters, Edna Cruz of Pueblo and Hope Tarufelli (Pete) of Raton; and her nieces, Cheryl Wilkins of Tucson and Kelli Gabriele of Raton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
