It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lyle E. Anthony of Raton, New Mexico, born in Quinn, South Dakota, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Anthony and Iloe Anthony (Shaffer); his son James Anthony, Sr.; his siblings, Alan Anthony and Eileen Henderson; and his sister-in-law Martha Urioste.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Haines; his daughters, LaKay Anthony, Tracy Anthony of Farmington, Kristine Haines, Teresa Wendelburg (David) of Westminster, Colorado and Marcia Haines Rubio of Raton; and his siblings-in-law, Reece Henderson of North Carolina, Leroy Urioste (Pearl) of Wagon Mound, Richard Urioste of Denver, Colorado and Sue Anthony of Colorado. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Veteran's Administration or Lighthouse Church.
