She was predeceased by: her husband Leopoldo Esquibel; her parents, Jose Barela and Adela Gallegos; her brother Ben Tafoya; her grandchildren, James T. Trujillo Jr and Jennifer Esquivel; and her great grandchild Joshua Esquivel.
She is survived by: her children, Louise Falcon (James T. Trujillo Sr.), Leo Esquibel (Rosa Esquibel) and Nash Esquivel (Debbie Esquivel); and her sister Mary Jiron. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
