It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Inez Hernandez of Raton, New Mexico, who passed away on October 27, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Tammy Ballesteros; his stepson Randy Wheeler; and his stepgreat-grandson Randy Lee Wheeler. He is survived by: his children, Nicole Mares (JP Valdez) and Brandon Mares (Kayla); his grandchildren, Xayden, Luciano, LeoVanni Mares, Rihanna Valdez, Shawn, Joshua, Sacha, Luanna, Julian and Calia Hernandez; his stepchildren, Billy Joe Wheeler (Crystal), George Wheeler (Hazel), Sally Bowers (Doyle) and Bernadine Mares; and his brother-in-law Luis Casillas. He is also survived by numerous Step Grandchildren and Step Great Grandchildren extended family and friends.
