He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth E. McQueary and Mac McQueary; and his grandparents, Andrew, Cora McQueary, Howard and Rae Laughlin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Elaine Lipe (Bob) of Roswell, NM, Larry McQueary (Kathy) of Raton, NM and Howard McQueary of Des Moines, WA.; and his nieces and nephews, April Fissel-Chokshi, Laurrie Wagner, Kevin Lipe, Doran McQueary, Kenny Lipe, Brad McQueary and William McQueary. He is also survived by cousins, and countless friends.
