It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Florine Anna Moon of Raton, New Mexico, who passed away on December 8, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Garrett and Hesper Garrett. She is survived by: her children, Debby (Bruce Abshere) and Randy (Terry Horner); her grandchildren, LaDonna Moltrer, Angie Abshere, Cole Abshere, Randy Horner Jr. and Christopher Horner; her great grandchildren, Destiny Horner, Jade Horner, Mason Horner, Brantley Abshere, Tyler Moltrer and Trystan Moltrer; her brothers, Rod Garrett and Gerald Garrett (Gene Moon); and her son Ricky Horner.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Alderette-Pomeroy Funeral Home (244 N 1st St, Raton, NM 87740).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Miners Colfax Medical Center (MCMC) Auxiliary in Raton.
