In loving memory of Carlos Sidney Sanchez Jr. of Raton, New Mexico, born in Clayton, New Mexico, who departed this world on December 11, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlos Sanchez and Eutimia Sanchez; his significant other Marie Bessie Sanchez; his children, Rosalie Blan, Patsy Encinias and Larry Vialpando; and his siblings, Lalo Mares, Seferino Otero, Robert Sanchez and Sarah Mares Sanchez.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Laura Pintor (Richard), Robert Gonzales (Berta), Deseray Perez (Lawrence), Jonathan Encinias, Theresa Blan (Ben), Eloy Blan, Jr., Josette Bizet, Lynette Keeth (Justin) and Candice Williams (Bucky); his sister Addie Montoya of Clayton; and his children-in-law, Janet Vialpando and Eloy Blan, Sr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A rosary will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church (115 N 1st St, Clayton, NM 88415). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
