He was predeceased by: his parents, Eloy Garcia and Emelina Garcia; his parents-in-law, Cliofes and Martina Herrera; his siblings, Gasper Garcia, Norbert Garcia, Marcelina Vest and Florence Rael; his son James A Garcia; his son-in-law James Chang; and his brother-in-law Nilo Duran.
He is survived by: his wife Viola H. Garcia; his children, Brandi Garcia-Chang, Carol Ortega, Lino Garcia and Sandra Garcia-Aline; his grandchildren, Adam Garcia (Sonya), Christopher Garcia (Melissa), Jessica Garcia, Derek Ortega (Suzanna), Chanel Clark (John), Ryan Garcia, Santana Rael (Kiko), Mariah Garcia and Joseph Aline; his siblings, Lorraine Duran, Conrad Garcia (Emilia) and Gilbert Garcia (Lorraine); his siblings-in-law, Emerlinda Garcia and Deacon Felimon Rael; and his aunts, Eulalia Garcia and Berlinda Trujillo. He is also survived by 13 great grand-children and many nephews, nieces, god-children, cousins; his loving brother and sister in laws and friends.
In consideration of COVID-19 restrictions, burial commemoration will be held as a private ceremony at the National Cemetery.
