He was predeceased by: his parents, Eduardo Ortega and Rosaura Ortega; his siblings, Floyd Ortega, Johnny Ortega and Consuelo Ortega; his nieces and nephews, Frances Martinez, Paul Eugene Aguilar, Matthew Cisneros and Patsy Ortega; and his brothers-in-law, Guy Martin, Jimmy Gallegos, Medardo Aguilar and Elivy Segura.
He is survived by: his wife Maxine Ortega; his children, Rachel Aragon (Brian), Anthony Ortega (Charlene) and Annette Rael; his grandchildren, Briana Aragon (Kenneth), Deanna Aragon, Leanna Aragon, Isabelle Rael, Natalie Ortega, Joshua Ortega and Dedrick Rael; his great grandchildren, Kiara Arellano, Daniel Torres and Kayliana Aragon; his siblings, Sadie Aguilar, Flora Martin, Jake Ortega (Pauline), Percilla Gallegos, Aurora Lovato, Alice Maez (Wilfred), Ruby Cisneros (Clyde) and Carmen Ortega; his sister-in-law Roxanne Ortega; and also Montoya. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
