It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Abe Cardenas (Questa, New Mexico), who passed away on October 22, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Louisa Cardenas; his parents, Willie Cardenas and Celina Cardenas; his brother Willie Cardenas Jr.; his grandchildren, Christina Sanchez and Lito Romero; and his parents-in-law, Euligio and Rosita Ortega.

He is survived by: his children, Connie Archuleta (Jimmy), Rosie Sanchez (Moises), Michael Cardenas (Roberta), Carla Apodaca (Raul) and Anna Cardenas; and his siblings, Oliva Gomez, Geraldine Kalka (Stefan) and Ernie Cardenas. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter.
