She was predeceased by: her mother Chiecko Obata; and her brother Maki. She is survived by: her husband Thomas Buffington; her son Royce Yuki Buffington of Japan; and her sister Shyoko Obata of Japan.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Palmer Park (4808 Palmer Park Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80915).
