He was predeceased by: his brothers, Marion and Dan Teel. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Parkinson; his wife Portales; his son Mike; his daughter-in-law Danelle Teel of Albuquerque; his daughter Melissa Phillips of Albuquerque; and his grandchildren, Austin Phillips, Nathaniel Townsend, Savanna Teel, Ethan Townsend and Michael R. Teel.
Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery with Austin Phillips, Michael R. Teel, Wayne Parkinson, Mike Teel, Donnie Massey and Lonnie Ridell serving as pallbearers.
