Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stanley Thomas of Portales, New Mexico, born in Quanah, Texas, who passed away at the age of 89, on March 24, 2024. He was predeceased by: his siblings, Donald, Howard Thomas, Pearl Jordan and Margaret Thomas; and his granddaughter Chealen Ross.

He is survived by: his wife Gladys "Gaynelle" Mills; his children, Stan (Lorna Thomas), Don (Suzanne Thomas), Cozetta, Thom Moore of Portales and Alowetta (Marc Terrien); and his sisters, Maxine Spiker of Amarillo, Karen Smitherman of Lubbock and Janet Pancake of Amarillo. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
