It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Ann Fields of Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ralph Arndt and Esta Arndt; her brothers, Wilbert Paul and Leon; her children, Diana Sweet (Andy), Donna McBroom (Rickie), Darla Fields, Gary Fields (Sandy) and Karla Wood (Chris); her grandchildren, Jon Sweet (Oli), Tarrah Bisch (Jamison), David Sweet (Nallely), Randy McBroom (Ashley), Denae Raymond (Curtis), Todd McBroom (Katelyn), Jalane Caroland and Dustin Caroland (Kelsey); and her great grandchildren, Mataio, Ezra, Simeon, Nehemiah, Thomas, Raley, Jaymie, Ricky, Daniel, Logan, Lacy and Brixley. She was also cherished by 5 children, 8 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
