It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shannon Morris Gorrell of Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Elliott; and his siblings, Dexter Gorrell, Edith Nix and Joanne Brown. He is survived by: his daughters, Sabra Gorrell of Portales and Shanna; his son-in-law Scott Campbell of Elida, NM; his grandchildren, Jenalee Watson (Raul Viscaino), Krystal Watson and Jayce Victor; his great grandchildren, Xzavier, Zaliyah, Xzavien, Xzaydrien, Tiauna, Tucker, Lynnae, Jordan, Madison and Lille; and his cousin Norene Nix Morehead.
