He is survived by: his daughters, Dawn Stokes (Dean Score) of Austin, TX and Kristie Stokes Phillips (Jim) of Rosenberg, TX; his grandchildren, Terin and Tayla Score; and his siblings, Jerry Stokes of Dora, NM, Betty Stokes of Portales and Ida Nicholson of Lake Worth, TX..
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wheeler Mortuary (500 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Portales Cemetery (1600 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
