With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Garcia of Portales, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 4, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel Garcia and Irene Garcia; and his siblings, Erlinda Dean, Nash Garcia and Geneva Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Maryann Garcia; his sons, Bobby Garcia (Dolores) and Scott Garcia; his grandsons, Andrew Garcia (Belle) and Seth Garcia (Cassidy); his great grandchildren, Davian, Leila, Athena and Wren Garcia; and his siblings, David Garcia (Marcella), Raymond Garcia (Lupe), Marcella Martinez (Sal), Mabel Vigil, Steve Garcia, Sean Garcia and Patrick Garcia.
A rosary was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St Helen Catholic Church (1600 S Ave O, Portales, NM 88130). A Mass was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
