She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Duncan (N. B.) and Olean Mae Duncan; and her siblings, T. Z. Duncan, Ernest Duncan, Oscar Duncan, Helen Jones, Freida Slone and Ila Mae Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Don Thorp; her sons, Steve Thorp (Vanda) of Roswell and Barry Thorp (Susan) of Alamogordo; her sister Mary King of Artesia; her grandchildren, Lauren Gadzia (Graham) of Des Moines, Zachary Thorp (Audrey) of Arcadia, Mara Thorp (Louis Emerson) of Phoenix, Caleb Thorp of Tulsa and Michael Merritt of Alamogordo; and her great grandchildren, Evie Thorp, Raven Thorp, Atlas Thorp, Bryte Gadzia, Wade Emerson and Maddox Merritt. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
