He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Boyd and Blanche Boyd; and his nephew Darrel Luce. He is survived by: his sons, Pete Boyd (Shaina) of Portales, NM and Adam Boyd (Chrystal) of New Braunfels, TX; the mother of his children Diana Childers of Lubbock, TX.; his grandchildren, Colby Boyd, London Boyd, Silas Boyd, Nicholas Knight and Allie Boyd; and also, Glen "Shine" Boyd of Fort Sumner, Carl "Cotton" Boyd (Linda) of Fort Sumner and Donna Luce (Dennis) of Fort Sumner.
