With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lillian Helmer of Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on November 26, 2023 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Charles Singleton, Audie Tidwell, Mildred Archer and LaVon Rhodes; and her daughters, Linda Shainwald and Cheryl Helmer.
She is survived by: her son Gary; her daughter-in-law Nell Helmer of Rich Square, NC; her daughter Rhonda; her son-in-law David Walker of Portales; and her grandchildren, Tina Walker, Tyler Walker (Lela) and Amanda Helmer.
