He was predeceased by: his siblings, Wayne, Joe, W. D. "Shorty", Jim, Betty, Mary and Jamie; and his granddaughter Addison Jade Welch.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Irene Vaughan; his children, Jeff (Doris Welch), Kevin (Megan Welch) and Angie; his son-in-law Brant Moore of Canyon, TX; his grandchildren, Cooper Brantley, Paxton Brady, Hudson Hunter and Evelyn Rose; and his sister Faye Cook of Diamond Springs, CA.
Until the spring of 2020, when CoVid19 closed the restaurants, Johnny and his brother, Bill, would go to the coffee shops every afternoon to see their friends and catch up on local news.
