With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jo Ann Vickers of Portales, New Mexico, born in Hollywood, California, who passed away on May 27, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lee (Hanna) and Joe Evans; her siblings, Jimmy Evans, Barbara Sparks and Kate; her brother-in-law Gov Imoe; and her son-in-law Randy Hutchins.
She is survived by: her husband William Shakespeare; her son Ellis; her daughter-in-law Sheryl Vickers of Roswell, NM; her daughter LeeAnn Hutchins of Clovis, NM; and her grandchildren, Michael Vickers (Shannon), Morgan Rivera (Cisco), Stephen Vickers (Jessica), William Hutchins (Carey), Brandy Reynolds (Rodney), Tami Herriage (James) and Christine Greene (Mike). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
