He was predeceased by: his daughter Lourdes Sotelo (Hiliana). He is survived by: his wife Josefina Sotelo; and his children, Jaime Sotelo (Rosa), Abraham Sotelo (JoAnn), Joel Sotelo (Maria), Abdon Sotelo (Guadalupe), Jose Alfredo Sotelo (Mabel), Lorena Sotelo, Ara Elena Sotelo, Iliana Soto (Eusevio) and Jesus Sotelo (Vicky). He is also survived by 42 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; three brothers, and two sisters.
