Fern Gore Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 10, 2025, at the age of 95, Fern Gore of Portales, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husbands, Leslie Smith, Jim Gore (Jim) and Elmer Reed; and her grandchild Stony Lee Smith. She is survived by: her children, Mike (Nita), Gary (Diep), JT of Portales, Eddie (Melanie), James (Sarah) and Missy Smith of Clovis; and her grandchildren, Tabor, Tyler, Kayalee, Stacey, Serena, Alicia, Alexis, Zyanya, Dylan, Tim, Brandy, Hailey and Sam. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel (500 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
