She was predeceased by: her son Daren Dever; her grandson Dustin Shearer; and her husband Carl Dever. She is survived by: her children, Pamela Shearer of Portales and Doug; her daughter-in-law Michelle Gilliam of Belton, MO; and her grandchildren, Laura Bouldin, Kale Hill, Angela Rickerd, Amy Stroud, Trey Gilliam, Austin Gilliam (Kelsey), Pecos Murdock, Kyle Knight and Chris James (Liz). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Wheeler Mortuary Chapel (500 E 3rd St, Portales, NM 88130).
