He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Pedro, Claudina Gallegos, Ramon and Benny Pena; and his parents, Pete Gallegos and Aurelia Gallegos.
He is survived by: his significant other Pauline Gonzales; his sons, Sal Gonzales (Nicole) and Jimmy Salazar (Deandra); his siblings, Loretta Aguilar (Reggie), Pat Gallegos and Ernesto Gallegos; and his grandchildren, Jonathyn Gonzales, Rheagyn Gonzales, Ethyn Gonzales (Anna), Izaiah Salazar, Elijah Salazar and Noah Salazar.
