He is survived by: his wife Judith Zehnder; his son John; his daughter-in-law Noelle Bartl of Portales; his daughters, Kerri Bartl of Denver, CO and Kim; his son-in-law Jerramie Vondall of Minneapolis, MN; his grandchildren, Samantha and Charley Bartl; and his siblings, Jim Bartl (Kathleen) of Eau Claire, WI, Tom Bartl (Beverly) of Woodbury, MN and Jan Van Steenkiste of Wadsworth, OH..
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Central Christian Church (1528 S Main Ave, Portales, NM 88130).
