It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Antonio Diaz of Portales, New Mexico, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Antonio may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his sisters, Sebastiana Ramirez and Guadalupe Tovar; and his sons, Oscar Diaz and Jesus Diaz. He is survived by: his wife Maria De Jesus Ruiz; and his children, Juan Diaz, Jose Diaz (Chrisanta) of Portales, Sylvia Diaz of Clovis and Maribel Jacovo (Luis) of Portales. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren; as well as other family members and his many friends.
