He was predeceased by: his former wife Cicily Marian Smith Muench; his daughter Linda Jo Muench Blohm; his brother Paul Bowers Muench; and his parents, Dr. Oscar B. and Florence Adeline Bowers Muench.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Becker Muench; his daughter Felicity Ann Muench; his granddaughter Laramy Christine Blohm; his stepdaughter Valerie Hesse; his niece Kristin Muench Waskiewicz; his nephews, Paul Barry Muench and Konried Muench; and his great-nephew Aaron Muench.
In lieu of flowers, at the request of Joseph Muench, donations may be made to the Animal Humane New Mexico on Virginia Street, S.E. Albuquerque, NM.
