He was predeceased by: his mother Adelaida Maes; and his sister Shelia Maes. He is survived by: his father Florian Maes; his wife Naria Maes; his children, Gene Maes (Debbie), Elaine Maes (Philo) and Michael Maes (Esmeralda); his grandchildren, Alexandra, Joshua, Zack, Damien, Angelique and Gabriel Rafael; and his great grandchildren, Joshlene, Cullen, Emmett, Alicia, Nevaeh, Eric, Ruby and Charlotte. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
