It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry James Racette of Peralta, New Mexico, born in Redford, New York, who passed away on February 3, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Racette and Anna Parrotte Racette; and his wife Agatha "Aggie" Racette. He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Racette and Stephen Racette of New York; and his children, Henry, John, Daniel Racette, Teri DePuy, Tracy Aragon, Jennifer Finlayson and Stephanie Racette. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family believes Hank would have preferred that, in lieu of sending flowers, those who remember him would go out and have a good steak, cooked rare, in his honor.
