He was predeceased by: his parents, Maria Otero (Armijo) and Jose Otero of Peralta. He is survived by: his wife Priscilla Otero (Ulibarri); his children, Charlotte Otero-Goodwin and E. E.; his son-in-law Daniel Sanchez; his stepgranddaughter Fernanda; his son Edward Otero; his granddaughter Olivia; his daughter-in-law Michelle Otero (Shay); his grandchild Sierra; his daughter Elizabeth Otero of Espinoza, B. A.; his grandson Elijah; his siblings, Jose U. Otero, Juanita Sanchez and Peggy Otero; his son Stephen Otero; his grandsons, Isaiah Otero and Xavier Otero; his sons-in-law, Bill Espinoza and Rick Goodwin; and his grandson Isaac Espinoza. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
