She was predeceased by: her parents, Wenonah Phelps and George Phelps; her husband Hugh Sarrels; her sisters, Norma Foster and Wanda Jones; her niece Rene Garner; and her nephew Robin Jones.
She is survived by: her daughter Sandy; her son-in-law Tom Blaine; her son John Ray (Kay) of Longview; her grandchildren, Chris Ray (Katherine), Chris Blaine (Kim), Caitlyn Blaine and Sam Blaine (Meghan); her great grandchild Nora Ray; her nieces, Paula Darner (Kirt) of Delta and Lynna Rowell (David) of Silver City; and her nephew Bryant Foster of Silver City. She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews who loved her and those children and grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Crafty Ladies of PMUMC or Lad S. Gordon Wildlife Refuge in memory of her love of watching the cranes.
