It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Benita Vialpando (Peralta, New Mexico), who passed away on January 8, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Phil Vialpando; her son Felix Vialpando; and her parents, Serafico Segovia and Adelina Segovia. She is survived by: her children, Phil Vialpando and Frances Salazar (Jose); and her siblings, Willie Segovia, Alfred Segovia, Feli Segovia, Marcy Sena and Ester Gomez. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, and 4 great great-grandchildren.
