He was predeceased by: his parents, Julian Ortiz and Frances Ortiz; and his wife Mary Frances Ortiz. He is survived by: his brothers, Ray Ortiz, Michael Ortiz and His; his daughter Phyllis Ortiz; his grandsons, Joseph and John Patrick Flores; his son Paul Ortiz (Pauline); his grandchildren, Felix and Paulette; his son Anthony Ortiz (Jackie); his grandchildren, Basiea, Paige and Steve Ortiz; his great grandchild Nicole Maddamma; his granddaughter Loretta Garcia (Mathew); his great grandchild Brian Sanchez; and his daughter Valerie Montoya. He is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
