We are sad to announce that on August 27, 2023, at the age of 84, Cipriano Joe Ortega of Pecos, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Juan Ortega and Petrita Ortega (Sandoval); his wife Maria Angelina "Angie" Ortega (Duran); his son David; his siblings, Porfirio, Isidro, Loyola Gurule and Mary Roessler; and his grandson James Ibarra.
He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth "Liz" (Joseph), Carolyn "Carol", Ernesto "Ernie", Donna and James (Patricia); his sisters, Marcy and Teresa; and his niece Betty Gurule Gobel. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 21 great- grandchildren, 11 great-great-grandchildren.
