He is survived by: his parents, Eluterio Varela and Sixta Varela; his grandmother Polly; his son Shawn; his siblings, David (Stephanie) and Sheryl (Jeremy); his nephews, DJ (Mariah), Steven (Danicia), Isaac (Natasha) and Dominik; his niece Danae (Josh); his great-nephew Mateo; his great-nieces, Celestina, Liliana and Martina; his aunts and uncles, Ernest (Linda), Sista (Madrina), Ines, Michael (Diana), Barbara (Gilbert), Paul (Michelle), Andrew (Anita), Sandra (Kenny), Marty (Evelyn), Diana (Rick), Sabino, Virgil and Eloy; and his nephews, Derek and Angel. He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.
