He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jim, Willie Burns, John and Maysie Burns; his parents, Bob Burns and Pat Burns; and his son Kirk Burns.
He is survived by: his wife Liz Burns; his children, Derek Burns (Keri) and Ashlee Fairbank (Ryan); and his grandchildren, Eva, Braxton, Wyatt, Rex, Grace, Grant and Claire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to the Nara Visa Community Center in honor of Jimmy and Liz's stewardship and commitment to the Nara Visa Community.
