He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Johnston and Ellen Johnston. He is survived by: his wife Danielle P. Johnston; his children, Chris Johnston (Jennifer) and Samantha Jacobs (Brian); his brothers, Bob Johnston (Jeannene) and Fred Johnston (Cheryl); and his brother-in-law John "Jack" Pressly III.
