He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Cayetano and Celeste Chavez; his uncle Walter Wilcox; and his brother Arthur Chavez. He is survived by: his parents, Johnny R. Martinez Sr. and Verna Chavez; his stepfather Bruce Jones; and his brothers, Johnny R. Martinez (Josie), Raymond J. Martinez and George D. Martinez (Yvette). He is also survived by his family and friends.
