He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfredo Tapia and Isabelita Tapia; his daughter Mary Magdalene; his brothers, Fermino, Pete and Nick Tapia; his stepson Chris Archuleta; his siblings-in-law, Leroy, Frank Ortiz and Loren Tapia; and his nephews, Gabriel Tapia, Manuel Tapia, Patrick Ortiz, Jayden Martin and Eric Tapia.
He is survived by: his sons, Emmanuel (Carmella) and Jonathon (Beverly); his stepdaughter Angela Martinez (Juan); his grandchildren, Destiny, Emmanuel Jr., Elias, Emma and Ezra; his siblings, Vicente Tapia (Ella), Mike Tapia (Barbara), Fred Tapia (Ramona), Santos Tapia (Helen), Jimmy Tapia (Georgia), Leroy Tapia (Rose), Genoveva Ortiz (Jean) and Virginia Ortiz; and his sister-in-law Anita Tapia. He is also survived by God children, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
