He is survived by: his wife Cindy Kay Sholtz; his children, Brian Abbott (Martha) of Spokane, WA, Phillip Wade Abbott of Moriarty, NM and Eva Thurston-Brown (Chad) of Moriarty, NM.; and his sister Barbara Gaddis.
