He was predeceased by: his parents, Eldon Steele and Laveda Steele (Bishop); and his wife Shirley Steele. He is survived by: his former spouse Chana Berry; his sister Janet Ahrens of Albuquerque, NM; his son Kevin Steele; his grandsons, Dean, Jackson and Robert of Sheridan; and his stepchildren, Evangeline Suarez, Emily Schroeder of Deming, NM, Ramon Suarez of Dallas, TX and Alex Palomarez of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by 14 step-grandchildren.
