Leonard Zamora Obituary

Funeral Mass for Leonard William Zamora 65 of Milan, New Mexico will be held on Tuesday-February 4, 2014-10:00 AM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Grants Memorial Park. A Visitation will be held on Monday-February 3, 2014 from 3:00 PM till 6:00 PM at Compassion Mortuary with a Rosary on Monday-February 3, 2014-7:00 PM at St. Teresa of Avila Catholic Church.

Leonard was born on October 6, 1948 in Rocky Ford, Colorado and he passed away on January 26, 2014 in Milan, New Mexico. He was a Veteran of the US Army-Serving in the Vietnam War. He is survived by his loving wife: Yolanda Zamora of Milan, New Mexico; Daughters: Nenette Gonzales and husband Auralio of Grants, New Mexico and Patricia Marquez; Sisters: Julie Carlile of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Bernice Archuleta of Grants, New Mexico, Levina Scott and Lourie Hamilton both of Utah; Brother: James Archuleta of Rio Rancho, New Mexico; Step Mother: Dee Zamora of Utah; Grandchildren: Bo Baros and Maxine Baros.

He is preceded in death by his Father: Art Zamora; Mother: Cleo Archuleta; Step Father: Bernie Archuleta; Brothers: Eugene Zamora, Leon Archuleta, Alex Archuleta and Chris Archuleta.
