It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lavada Lou Eagle of Milan, New Mexico, born in Brownfield, Texas, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Louise Haddox (Lee Anthony Harrison), Karen Aragon (Tony), Diane Chesshir (Dois), Elizabeth Godfrey (Wayne) and Angela Baca (Larry); her grandchildren, Charlie Ray Turnbow, Dakota Mace (Melissa DeHerrera), Casper Mace, Wayland Mace (Josie), Dallas Moore (Clint), DeeAnne Nelson (Brent) and Tiffany Short (Casey); her siblings, Dorothy Thomas and Lee Atwood; her husband Olan Ray Eagle; her parents, Clona James Atwood and Eva Lena Cannon Atwood; her granddaughters, Jackie Turnbow and Latasha Godfrey; her siblings, CJ Atwood, Erma Marlow, Delbert Atwood and Wanda Peace; and her nephew Greg Atwood. She was also cherished by numerous other relatives and friends.
