He is survived by: his children, Daniel, Jose Torrez (Tina) of Milan and Brandon Torrez (Mary) of Grants; his father Fermin Torrez (Nancy) of Grants; his sister Jessica Salazar of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Serinity Torrez of Grants, Daniel Torrez, Jr. of Milan and Isabella Torrez of Grants; and his grandmother Emma Gonzales. He is also survived by several Uncles, nieces and nephews.
