Barbara Powell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2023, at the age of 75, Barbara Powell (Miami, New Mexico) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Hayden and Etta Marie Knighton (Phelps); and her siblings, Samuel Hayden Knighton Jr., Stephen Leonard Knighton and Marlene Sue Tarrant.
She is survived by: her husband Tommy Dean Powell of Cimarron, NM.; her children, Felicia Powell of Portales, NM, Tameisha Bolen (Rowdy) of Smyer, TX and Bucky Powell (Nira) of Amistad, NM; her grandchildren, Alyssa Bolen, Reese Bolen, Gatlin Bolen, Amy Powell and Tyler Powell; her sisters, Marjorie Littleton of Stephenville, TX and Janelle Garrett of Douglass, TX; and her sister-in-law Peggy Powell of San Saba, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and lifelong friends.
