He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Maria Salomon Martinez; his children, Elva Gonzalez Salomon (Antonio Gonzalez), Salvador Salomon II, Maria Olivia Carrillo Najera (Ramon Gabriel Silva) and Mario Navarrette (Angie Rodriguez-Navarrette); and his grandchildren, Flor Gonzalez (Omar Martinez), Armando Gonzalez (Barbarita Bustamante), Veronica Salomon, Erika (Alberto Martinez), Lorena Salomon (Jorge Nevarez), Salvador "Chacho" Salomon III (Ana), Crystal (Joshua Archuleta), Johnny R. Villa, Mario I. Navarrette, Jr. and Arabella Navarrette. He was also cherished by 15 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
