She was predeceased by: her parents, Kee Benally and Angeline Bigmouth; her grandparents, Alberta Simms Begay and Bradley Bigmouth; her siblings, Myron Dechilly, Carol Ann Dechilly and Hariett Dechilly; and her daughter Drusilla Tsinnijinnie.
She is survived by: her sons, Alvin Benally and Percy Benally; her siblings, Simon Simms Sr., Harold Dechilly, Karen Geronimo and Alberta Dechilly; and her close friend Thomas Tsinnijinnie. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and their family.
A rosary was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 636 Mission Rd, Mescalero, NM 88340. A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 from 6:45 AM to 7:45 AM at the Mescalero Cemetery. A reception was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mescalero Community Center (107 Sunset Loop, Mescalero, NM 88340). A vigil service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at the Mescalero Cemetery.
