We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2020, at the age of 85, Joseph Shanta Jr. (Mescalero, New Mexico) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Ceda Ann Magoosh; and his children, Miralene Blaylock, Joseph Magoosh, Howard Magoosh, Uretta Platta, Dudette Shanta, Betty Shanta, Andrew Shanta and Matthew Belin. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
